Wow, what a title. Kinda like saying “the rain is wet”. Still, it bears saying. A lot. Over and Over.

The question that begs to be asked is “Why do I need to say it?”

Because for some reason society has decided to train women that they aren’t. That’s right, you heard me correctly. Every woman out there thinks that she is ugly. Maybe not all the time, maybe not every day, but often enough that it PISSES ME OFF.

Now, I’m not the kind of person that gets angry at many things, but this is one of my few buttons. The thought that for some insane reason we feel the need to train other people to think that they are ugly is stupid on an epic level.

For all of you women out there, let me say this. I assure you that there are men out there like me who know the difference between normal and sculpted. We prefer flesh over silicone. We want you to know that you ARE beautiful, we aren’t lying to you when we compliment you.

So why do we also think that Victoria Secret models are hot? Umm .. because they ARE?

I guess you were expecting me to give you some BS line and lie to you. Nope, not here. They are indeed beautiful, even YOU have to admit it. Truth now. The thing is, just because they are beautiful doesn’t mean that YOU aren’t. You are beautiful too. All the shapes and sizes and colors and personalities, oh my. It’s like a smorgasbord of wow.

You DO realize that models and celebrities are only a TINY fraction of the population don’t you?

When a man tells you that he thinks you are (insert compliment here), he is trying to give you a compliment. He’s NOT trying to use some kind of bass-ackwards, reverse psychology, passive aggressive mumbo jumbo on you to insult you. That’s a female thing. More insanity. If a man wants to insult you, he WILL. We’re simple that way. We see something we like or don’t like and we let our opinion be known.

Why is it that women want to feel pretty and yet they put down EVERY other woman out there to do it? You know that’s part of how this shit spreads don’t you? Stop looking for ways that you are better than someone else. Start looking for what you like about yourself, you’ll be happier. Comparison to others is how we got here.

And while we’re here, let’s discuss “Does this make me look fat?”. The answer is NO. either you are fat, or you aren’t. Short of wearing a fat suit, NO clothing can MAKE you look fat.
You wanna know if something looks good on you? Fine, then ask THAT. Don’t tell me to be honest if you’re going to ask dishonest questions. I won’t reinforce your BDD, so stop asking me to.
