This is a great little spell that can be used to raise personal energy and positive energy in a space. It can be great to use right before other spellwork, or just to create a really good vibe in a room or home.

What you’ll Need:

A yellow candle, a quiet space

All you need for this spell is a candle and some privacy. If your tradition calls for it (or if it feels good) you can cast a circle, set up an altar or add any other aspects to the spell. You can empower the candle with ritual oil prior to use if you like.

Set your candle somewhere safe, light it, then speak the following words aloud or in your head.

Sun and light
Power and grace,
May positive energy
Fill this space.

Repeat these words as often as you see fit. Seven, 13, 23 or 108 times are good numbers, or just go with what feels right until you’ve raised the desired amount of energy.

You can let the candle keep burning, and the energy will continue to be present for that length of time. You may choose to allow the candle to burn only for as long as you need the energy, then snuff it when you’re done to disperse the amassed energies.

I don’t recommend using an extremely long-burning candle for this spell. Too much energy, magical or otherwise, left to build can cause serious problems. You may not think there can be such a thing as too much positive energy, but there can be!
