I discovered something neat recently, and I just wanted to share it. I figured out how to reheat food in the sink.

Have you ever had a nice piece of leftover steak or something like that that you wanted to reheat, but you don’t want it getting dried out in the microwave or oven? We did. I often put meat into a zipper bag and place it in a sink full of warm water to thaw. When Eric wanted to reheat his steak I remembered that the pork chops I’d thawed earlier. I told him to put the piece of steak in a baggie and put it in some hot water for a while.

It worked! It took the chill off without drying up the meat or making it tough. It tasted great! We’re going to keep this in mind for other leftovers, especially meat. None of us like it when we reheat a piece of meat and it gets all tough and dry. Try it yourself. It’s easy and works really well.
