Well, the variegated blue tablet case is now done. That makes three cases done. I really hope people will like these. They’re not that hard to make, just time consuming. They take about three hours each. Crocheting in rounds is fairly easy, it just takes a while to make enough rounds to form the case. After that I have to sew on the buttons and sew in the lining. They’re pretty cool though. I really like the blue and burgundy ones.

I don’t think I’ll be making any more cases for a while though. I do have more thread that needs to be used, but the colors of foam that I have don’t match any of the thread. I’m not sure what to do with the rest of the thread that I have. I was thinking about doing some doll wigs, but I’m not sure if those would sell or not. I can make some pretty cool looking ones though. I actually have two wigs already done that I need to list. I’d really like to use the rest of the crochet cotton I have, which is a fair amount. I don’t have a lot of any one color though, so I need to do small things. I’d just like to make something interesting or practical. I’m not going to do the doily thing, I don’t think anyone even uses doilies anymore.

Since I’m not sure what to do with the crochet cotton, I guess I’ll just let it roll around in the back of my head until something strikes me. In the meantime I have an earring on my work table that needs to have a match beaded for it, then I have an idea for another set. I’m not sure if my idea will work, but I’m going to give it a shot. I also need to start working on the masks that I want to do. I have the mold and the plaster, I just need to start making them. I figured that I’ll make a bunch of them and then paint and decorate them afterward instead of doing them one at a time. I wish I had more mask molds, but they don’t make the kind that I have anymore.

So… All kinds of stuff on the horizon! I know, I’m all over the place, but that’s part of the fun for me. I love that I know about so many different kinds of crafting that I can go from one thing to another and not get bored. I know that if you listen to most of the people out there, it’s “wrong” to be so eclectic, especially when you’re selling it all in one shop, but I don’t care. I am who I am and I love that. I think a lot of people will find it cool that I’m not just into one thing, you never know what you’ll find in my shop. It’s kind of an adventure. 🙂
