A lot of people like to throw around the phrase “that’s impossible”, but have you ever considered the possibility that nothing is impossible? Imagine for a moment the idea that maybe everything is possible. Maybe, just maybe, if we can think it, we can make it happen, and none of the limitations we’ve been taught to believe in really exist.
Personally, I don’t believe in impossible. I know the word accidentally slips from my lips now and again, but I’m usually quick to correct myself. I believe that everything is possible. I have seen too much wonder and too many unexplainable things to believe otherwise. I think if more people let go of the “impossible” mentality and latched onto the “possible” mentality, the world would open up for them and the rest of the world in amazing ways.
What if the things you’ve been told are impossible really aren’t? What if you really can manifest your perfect mate out of seemingly thin air? What if you can reverse the effects of aging on your body? What if you can cure any illness, no matter how severe? What if you can achieve any goal you set your mind to? Aren’t those thoughts so much better that believing that these things are impossible?
If you look around, there are examples of our limitless possibility everywhere. People wake up after comas no one thought they’d wake from and cure cancer within their own bodies. People go from poor and sick to vibrant and wealthy. People defy the odds every day. Science and nature astonish us on a regular basis as they show us the limitless wonder of the world around us. If we believe that everything is possible, we begin to see the evidence of it all around us.
I know from experience that it can be hard to hold on to this belief, but it’s so beneficial when you can. When you start thinking “I can’t” or “I’ll never” or “It can’t happen” you limit yourself so much. When you turn that around you start to see opportunities to be so much more amazing. even if you can’t make it a permanent belief right now, take some time to imagine if everything were possible. I bet you’ll feel good when you’re done.
