Cassie is all about bringing magic into the world. You might say “Of course, she’s a witch!” but it’s more than what you might think. Most of Cassandra’s “magic” is just creatively gearing people into thinking and doing amazing things and realizing the wonder that is within and around them. She doesn’t need spells or charms to make magic, and neither do the rest of us.

Magic is something that is in us and around us every moment of every day. The fact that molecules come together to make air and water and keep us alive is magical. The emergence of a butterfly or the birth of a healthy new baby are magical. A man waking from a ten year coma or a hungry child tasting healthy food for the first time are magical. Even simpler still, a smile, hug or kind word can be magic.

If we look for it, we can see the magic within ourselves, each other, and all of creation. We just have to believe that it’s there, and open our hearts and eyes to see it. Magic and miracles are everywhere, but we have closed ourselves off to it. We put the power of wonder in the hands of faceless deities that we feel disconnected from, or worse yet, we stop believing that magic and our connection to it even exist.

It’s sad that people consider faith in magic and wonder and beauty to be something for children or the mentally inform. Once you “grow up” you’re not supposed to believe in such things anymore. How ridiculous! The magic doesn’t stop existing at a certain age, you just choose to lose connection with it. That connection can be reformed any time you choose.

If you make that choice, to see the magic and wonder of all things, every day, you’ll see change in your life and the world. It’s not easy in the beginning, society does it’s best to kill the magic, but we can make the choice to see it and believe in it. We can choose to embrace it and share it. We can make our lives magical if we want to.
