I’m sure most of you have heard the old saying about missing the forest for the trees. When we focus on the details of the moment and miss out on the big picture.
I see it happening every day. People who focus all their attention on one single thing that has offended them or upset them. They come up with what they think is a viable solution, but they lack the ability to see how their “solution” will fit into the big picture. People miss the big picture in a large and embarrassingly stupid fashion whenever something bad happens.
I’m begging you, my fellow humans, stop missing the forest. I look out upon the forest in all it’s glory and I see large sections of the forest dying because of your solutions to fix ONE tree in front of you. Whenever you look upon only one tree, you cannot see that the forest is dying because you want to save one single diseased tree. Unfortunately for you, the disease is spreading to the other trees while you are trying to cure it. If you had let the tree die, the others near it would be thriving.
