I haven’t run a giveaway in quite a while, and I figured that with the holidays approaching, now was a great time to have one. This giveaway is for a custom digital portrait, like the one shown above. I normally do these portraits for $20, but you can get one for free just by signing up for the blog’s newsletter. Emails are sent in digest form (all posts from the day in one mailing) and you’ll never get more than one digest per day. You may receive one or two additional emails per month about things I’m doing outside of the blog, but in all honesty, I usually forget to send those out.

The giveaway will run from 12/11/2014 – 12/31/2014. On 1/1/2015 I’ll select a random winner. Only new subscribers are eligible for the contest. The winner will then be able to send me a photo of any person or pet and I will redraw it into a lovely portrait, sign it, and send it off to them. It will be large and high enough resolution to print nicely. I’ll even do your favorite animal that’s not a pet, if you don’t want a regular portrait.

If I get more than 50 subscribers before the contest is over, I’ll give away a second digital portrait to another lucky subscriber. For every 25 people after that, I’ll give away another portrait. So, the more subscribers I get, the more chances there are to win.
