It’s the end of my work day and I figured I’d close out with something cute. I’m going to share pictures of some of my pets with you. Some are animals I have now, and some are my past fur, feather and scale babies. I hope you enjoy them.
I’ve always loved having animals in my life. I’ve had a pet of one kind or another since I was a little kid. It’s just something that’s always been part of my life. I can’t imagine life without a pet to love and enjoy.
The top one there is Jynx, you’ve seen me talk about her a few times. She’s a stray that we adopted a few years ago, and we love her to death.
This is my Lutino cockatiel Stoli. He’s loud a lot, but he’s so cute sometimes. He’s got quite the cute vocabulary.
This is Cherie, my previous cockatiel. I loved her so much. She passed from egg-binding, and she will always be loved and missed.
This is Pepper & Sherrie, my parakeets that I had in Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, I had to leave them with another family when I moved to Georgia.
This is Zipper, he was a toss-away cat that I adopted many years ago. He now has a new family, but I adored him for the years that I had him.
This is Kira. She was a farm cat that got abandoned at the shelter. She was so loving, but she had a habit of licking everything that would stay still, including hot lampshades and TV screens.
These are my gerbils Sugar and Cinnamon. They were boys, and I think they were gay. They were very odd. When I had to move from Maine to Pennsylvania they were given to a school where the kids adored them as class pets.
This is a snake one of my former boyfriends brought home. I love snakes, but it hated me. He ended up living in the back yard.
This is Creep. I didn’t own him, but he was a local stray that was really loving and he really liked coming to our place for food scraps and scritchy loving. |
