You’ve likely noticed that I haven’t been blogging lately. I’m sorry about that, but things in my life are going in a different direction, so how I’m doing things and where I’m putting my focus is changing. I just don’t have the time or inclination for full-out blogging right now. However, I’m actually getting much more active online, and I wanted to let you all know how I’m going to be doing things for the foreseeable future.
Instead of writing articles and long blog posts, I’m focusing entirely on social media. It’s a lot more fun for me to post statuses and photos throughout each day rather than trying to make “real” blog posts. Not only is it a lot more enjoyable for me, it’s proving to be a lot more interactive and beneficial for me in so many ways. It also allows me to share so much more than I could when trying to make “proper” blog posts. So that’s what I’m going to be doing. I have no idea when I’ll go back to traditional blogging.
One thing I’ve done though is to make everything I do post to my Tumblr account, and I have made the main page of this blog show that. It’s looks a bit odd and isn’t what I’d prefer, but it’s the best I can do. If you go to the homepage, you’ll always be able to see the latest on what I’m doing. Or, if you want to make your life easier, you can just subscribe to My Tumblr Blog itself. You can also follow me on Google+ or FaceBook and get all the same updates. Basically, I do all my posting to G+, and it automatically replicates on FB, Twitter and Tumblr. However you want to do it, I hope that you’ll still follow me.
Even though I won’t be doing the major article writing for awhile, I am staying active, and I can be a lot more interactive on social media. I’m posting very regularly now, and I’m thrilled to chat with anyone who leaves a comment. I know that this choice might be a bummer for people who really liked my longer writing, but I need to be happy and successful, and this is what’s working for me right now. I’ll likely go back to writing off and on, but right now I’m doing what feels best and works best.
I really do hope that you’ll come over and follow my Tumblr and/or G+. You’ll still get lots of great content, it’ll just be different. With any luck, you’ll all support this new move and be happy that I’m finding things that not only make me happy, but seem to be helping my business grow.
