Money is one of those things that we just can’t live without. I’m sure I’m not alone in wishing that wasn’t the truth, but it is. So, we do whatever we can to get the funds we need to pay our bills and buy the things we want. Since every positive thought and bit of good energy we put into the universe helps us get what we need, I decided to put together a few things that you can use to encourage money and wealth to come into your life.
Wealth knot strands are an old tradition for attracting money into your life. In its simplest form, it’s just a series of knots ties in string or cord while thinking of the goal of attracting wealth. Typically, wealth knot strands are made up of seven knots tied in gold or green cord, sometimes both. Seven is considered to be a lucky number to many. Some traditions believe that the lucky number should be multiplied by itself for best results. In other words, you would make a cord with seven groups of seven knots to create the most powerful charm.
It’s important that your focus remain clear while trying the knots. Don’t think about debt or lack, only of gratefully welcoming more money into your life in whatever way it may come to you. If you’re not putting the right energy into the charm, you won’t get the right results.
You can also embellish your wealth knot cord by stringing beads between the groups or into each knot. Silver, gold and green are the best colors for wealth. You can also add fake coins or real, drilled coins to the bottom or the cord as a more visual representation of the wealth you want to attract. Also, if seven doesn’t feel like a good number to you, use whatever number you feel best with, and just remember to multiply it, as in three groups of three knots or eleven groups of eleven knots. Once complete, carry the cord or hang it where you will see it often, and whenever you look at it, think of the wealth that is being attracted into your life.
The Blessed Change Jar
Another charm that’s easy to make is a blessed change jar. If you often have pocket change, keep a glass jar somewhere to empty the change into at the end of the day. When you add change to the jar, put out the energy that for every piece of change entering the jar, even more than that value will return into your life. Don’t take change out of the jar until it is full. Save it to get something nice for yourself or donate it to a worthy cause to share the wealth.
You can keep the jar plain, or you can add power to it through decoration. Wrapping the top edge in gold or green cord is one way. You may paint symbols on the glass that represent wealth. You can also add herbs to the jar that are known to attract wealth. If you add herbs, I recommend putting them in a small sachet in the bottom of the jar so you don’t make a mess when you finally empty out the change.
The Paid Bill Blessing
Another wealth-attracting trick can be done whenever you pay bills. Whether you’re paying bills on paper or online, put your mind in the right place as you send the money out. Silently talk to yourself whenever you pay bills, and tell yourself (and the universe) that you will always have more than enough money to pay your bills. Your bills will always be paid on time, and you will always have money left over after the bills are paid. Don’t allow yourself to feel any stress when paying bills. Always believe that there will be enough in your pocket or the bank to cover everything, and that you will always get more.
Surround Yourself With Wealth
A simple trick to keep your mind in a prosperous place is to put money around your room or home. Use poster tack or a similar product to stick coins or bills up around your home or personal space. Put up as little or as much as you like. You can also use printed images of money. Put them up wherever you can. By literally surrounding yourself with money you can keep your mind in a place of feeling wealthy. I have coins, both real and imitation in various places around my own home. I even have a doll carrying rolled up bills as a representation of wealth being carried into my life.
Colors of Wealth
As I’ve mentioned, gold, silver and green are considered to be the colors of wealth. Some cultures also add red for luck, but red can have negative connotations for some people. adding these colors to your decor can help you feel wealthy. It can also be a good practice to burn candles of these colors while meditating on or thinking about bringing wealth into your life. And remember, even if you want to bring money through your work, always keep yourself open to other ways of attaining money. Don’t limit the universe, it can be quite pleasantly surprising if you give it a chance.
Herbs for Wealth
Herb magic has been around for a long time, and herbs, both in scent and in energy, can be a great way to bring your desires into reality. Here are some herbs that can attract or multiply wealth:
Ginger, almond, blackberry, carob, cassia, chamomile, cinnamon, clove, dill, heliotrope, honeysuckle, jasmine (carry), kumquat, marjoram, mint, moss, pomegranate, snapdragon, tea leaf, verbena, vervain, wheat
