“A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are.” –Unknown
Friends are our second family, soul mates, and inspiration. We can joke with them, gossip with them, laugh with them, cry with them, and be there for them when the world becomes dark. Friends see us at our best and at our worst. There is nothing that we would not do for our friends.
You can tell a good friend by how understanding they are. A good friend does not judge your circumstances, how much money you make, who you love, what you do, and where you have come from. They accept you even during the worst of times. A good friend will help you during these bad times. If a friend needs you to help with fundraising, a move, or a job, you are there for them.
I have friends who are extremely talented web writers. Since web writing can be a fairly unpredictable field of work, we help each other out with promotion, encouragement, ideas, and guest-blogging. We see the talent in one another and we encourage one another to be successful. We may have different beliefs or lifestyles, but we accept one another as we are. We do not judge. We embrace each others differences, and we encourage each others similarities. We are a part of a family of web writers, helping one another out to become successful.
I have heard that if you have one “true blue” friend, you are beyond blessed. It is true. This world is full of individuals who want nothing more than to knock others down. If you find a person (or persons) who accept you, encourage you, and love you as you are, you are richer than the richest King or Queen on the planet.
Help out a friend that is in need. Encourage a friend who is going through hell. Hug them and tell them that you love them. Be your friend’s second home.
