Yet another of the keep-’em-down sayings. So many people believe that no one person can change the world, but how wrong they are! Any one person, no matter who they are or where they come from, can make a huge impact on the world.
Just think about Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King Jr., the Dalai Lama and others like them. Think about Tesla and Einstein and Edison. These people all changed the world as we know it. Some of them were born into the circumstances that set them up for greatness, many were not. They come from different walks of life, different levels of education, different spiritual backgrounds. Anyone can become an amazing force of change.
Now, thinking about becoming the next world-altering force may seem impossible, or more than you really want. It might happen though And even if you don’t go down in history, there’s nothing saying you can’t make a big change in the world. You never know what you might say or do that could impact everyone. If you’re living your life right, anything is possible.
Even if you never become famous in history, you can still have a major impact. You can change the world for just one person. There are people out there in the world who will never forget me for as long as they live. I’ve touched them that deeply and changed their lives that much. We all have that power. Over the course of our lives, we may radically alter and improve the lives of others, and that can have a cascading effect that goes on long after we die.
If you want to make the world a better place, do everything you can to make that happen and never let anyone tell you that you’re not significant enough to do it. Every person you touch creates a ripple effect. People believe firmly in the negative ripples that can be caused, why don’t they believe in the positive ones? life is a dynamic, beautiful thing, and we can change anything at any time. We may just change the whole of the world as we know it.
