Fruit for People Who Don’t Like Eating Fruit

I like the taste of many kinds of fruit, but I really don’t like eating them. I don’t like peeling, I don’t like seeds and for the most part I just don’t like the way most fruit feels in my mouth. Unfortunately, that has kept me from getting the nutrition that fruit has to offer.

I tried putting fruit in the blender to make smoothies, but apparently there’s a secret to that which I’m not privy to. Mine was always grainy and just tasted gross, even with milk or water added. I tried freezing the fruit but that didn’t help. I was about to give up on the whole thing until I saw something at Publix.

I saw these little packets that said “Buddy Fruits”. It’s 100% natural blended fruit. It was on sale 2-for-1, so I grabbed a couple to try. I love them! They’re perfect for someone like me. I keep them in the fridge and just grab them when I want a healthy snack. It’s a smooth blend of one or more fruits in a little packet with a screw top. Just twist it open and squeeze it in your mouth. It’s kind of like a smooth applesauce consistency, and they’re delicious.

Now I get to eat apples, bananas, strawberries and I’m planning on trying other flavors. Apparently they also make smoothies and “super fruit” blends, and I hope I can find them at the store. I really like that I can have pure fruit now without the hassle or weird mouth experience. And since they’re only 50-70 calories, they give me nutrition without messing up my diet.

There’s also another brand at Publix, but it’s labeled organic and costs double, so I haven’t tried any of those. Oh, and Buddy Fruits also makes little fruit chews, they’re like gummy bears only 100% fruit. I only tried the raspberry and they were really tart and sticky, but I haven’t tested the others yet.

So, if you like the taste of fruit but not the hassle or the feeling, you might want to try BuddyFruit. By the way, I was not paid or compensated for this review, I just think it’s a good product.
