When you go trick or treating, you knock on neighborhood doors and hope for a good piece of tasty candy. Well, not many do it anymore, but that’s a different topic for another time, and I’m getting away from the point. Finding friends works the same way. You start talking to random strangers somewhere and maybe you’ll make a new friend who will stick with you through thick and thin.
Just like trick or treating though, you have to take a close look at what you found. You might have a full sized chocolate bar, or you might have gotten a rotten apple full of razor blades. So, what do we do with the bad candy? That’s right, we throw it away and possibly notify the police. You need to do the same with your friends too. Take a good look at who you’re calling a friend. Are they awesome and kind to you, or are they poisoning your mind and calling you names?
Throw the bad candy away folks, finding new friends is easier than dealing with the friend poisoning.
