You may have noticed that the blog is suddenly springing to life with a large number of backdated posts. I figured I should post an update to let everyone know what’s going on.

I had abandoned the blog because I decided to go write for a site called Bubblews. I was making good money writing there, and it helped me find my voice, my confidence, and build a fan base. For the nine months that I was actively writing there, the site was really good to me. Unfortunately, they have been having a lot of issues and there were things going on behind the scenes. Long story short, I decided that I could not, in good conscience, continue writing for them. So… All 1300 posts that I wrote for them are going to be moved here to the blog.

So that’s challenge #1, leaving behind Bubblews and moving everything to the blog in the hopes that I can make more money from it and also have full control over my own content. Challenge #2 came when I found out that one of my family members is going to be moving next year. Four of us live together so that we can afford a good home and the amenities we want. With one gone, we won’t be able to afford it anymore. Everyone is going to have to figure out how to make this work.

This means that I have until Christmas 2014 to get this blog running to a point where it makes a livable income for two people and I have enough to get a home, furniture and a car. That may sound impossible to some, but I have a few talented and knowledgeable people who are telling me that it is doable. Even though it sounds difficult and possibly insane, I am holding on to my faith that I can make it all happen, and that things will align to make this all work out.

Writing is what I want to do. Writing and helping people is my calling, my passion, and it’s what I want to do full-time. I won’t turn down other opportunities if they come along, but my goal is to keep writing and turn this blog into something that earns a livable income. I’m sure some days may be stressful, and the copying and pasting of 1300 articles is certainly tedious, but I want it to work, and I believe that it can.

More than anything I want to keep writing content that helps people, and helps to make the world a better place. I believe that if I keep my heart focused on that, then the universe will arrange events and opportunities to bring that dream to fruition.

If you move all 1300 articles to this blog and promote them through Twitter, Facebook, etc, plus make sure they have good seo, you should do fine!

Thank you. It’s already starting to make a tiny profit, so I believe it will just continue to grow!
