You’re never too old to learn. I’m not sure why anyone has ever thought that, but they need to stop.

You can learn at any age. It may be harder as you get older, but it’s not impossible, and it’s well worth it. It’s sad to see that when people reach a certain age they seem to give up on learning or changing. It’s like they just give up on life and decide that whatever they are at that moment is all they can ever be, and all they ever want to be.

You should never stop learning. You should never stop growing and changing. You should always strive to be the best you can be. If your body is up to the task, learn whatever you want to. And there’s always plenty to learn that is only dependent on your mind and your soul, so even from a hospital bed you could still learn and grow.

I love seeing people who are in their 60’s, 70’s or even older, and they’re doing new things. Para-sailing, skiing, dancing, rollerskating, you name it, they’re trying it for the first time. They don’t care if they fail, they want to try. It’s awesome to see people like that. They got too old to worry about looking foolish or failing, but not too old to keep trying and enjoying life.

It’s also great to see people who know that they’re never too old to repair their grammar and spelling. Not too old to learn new technology. Not too old to become better people. Everyone should be like that. Keep growing! Keep making yourself the best you can be no matter what.

Unfortunately, people are entering into that trend of “too old to change” earlier and earlier. I’ve seen some people be there at 40! That’s crazy. The number of years you’ve been on the planet is no excuse, and certainly no reason, to stop growing as a person and learning or trying new things. If an 80-year-old woman can go to college and graduate just to say she did it, you have no reason to not always be growing and learning.

Do you think you’re too old to change? Are you set in your ways, or do you keep growing and becoming better over time?
