Eric and I have been talking about it, and we’ve decided that we’re going to put a bit more effort into doing something that we’ve discussed before: sharing our recipes on the blog. We don’t have a lot of money to give, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have anything to share with the world. We’re both very good cooks, and we can share the gift of food.

At one time we were thinking about making a book with all our recipes, and I suppose we still could, but I really wanted to give them away on the blog. People love good food, and good food makes people happy. Why not share the joy we get from the awesome meals we both make?

I’ve already put a few on the blog, but one thing they were lacking was real photos. I was nabbing photos from the internet that were close, but nobody makes things quite like we do, so we need our own photos. So the plan right now is to make a list of all the things we make, and cook our way through that list, taking pictures as we go, then we’ll add the photos and recipes to the blog. We’d gotten lazy for a while and were eating too many frozen meals, so this is actually motivation to get back to real cooking again, which is both healthier and more cost-effective than buying TV dinners.

So all of you out there in the world will soon get to experience all the awesome dishes we’ve come up with. There are several of them we’ve never bothered to write down, so that will be something else for us to do. We wing it more often than not, so this will be the first time some of these things will ever be getting into print. I hope that you’ll all enjoy the recipes we share. And please, if you make anything we share, feel free to post comments and share photos. It will make us happy to know that we made you happy. 🙂
